The Hunt Continues

Well, Tiffney took me to look at a house again this morning, before they left for their little vacation. Bless her heart. I know it made for a busy morning for her. Anyway, I will add the link here so you can see this house.

Ok, The deal with this house is..it is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. I love the stone on the outside. On the inside it is all wood floors, original wood trim, just beautiful. BUT...it's listed as a 3 bedroom and when you go up the stairs, there is that "landing" room and then 2 bedrooms off of that. So, we would want the "landing" room which they count as a bedroom as it has an electric fireplace and is bigger. But, we would have no privacy whatsoever. So, that just won't work. After all, can't have Makenneh or Sebastian getting out of bed to use bathroom and catch mom and dad in the act. I just don't like the whole no privacy issue. So, if we went with this house, we would have to take the 2nd largest room and have one of the kids in that area. There is also a bathroom upstairs as well as downstairs. The one upstairs has a beautiful clawfoot tub. Jeremy would be in love. He loves his baths and what is better than a long hot soak in a huge, old fashioned tub? I would even take baths then. LOL. Downstairs there is a full bath with a shower only. The other negative (although not a deal breaker) is that hte washer/dryer (stackable) is right next to the stove in the kitchen. but i thought of a way we could fix that up...by building an enclosure around it.

But, we are still going to continue to look and there is another house we will look at as soon as Tiff and Mandy get back from vacation

So, we will be busy busy busy picking a house. Just thought I would share some of our options.

If anyone knows how to make that link smaller by, say, making it read "click here" or something, let me know.

House hunting sounds hard! We were thinking of looking for a house this summer, but I do dread it from what I've heard. Good luck in your search.

I found you through Helen's blog. I live in Michigan too. :)
